Easy website to navigate for online ordering (and even includes pictures!). The food is ready quickly and you'll receive a text when your order is ready. The packing for takeout orders is great! The food is delicious! The restaurant was full when picking up my takeout order, and the servings were huge!
Ichiban Izakaya is a charming sushi spot in East Eisenhower, Alexandria, with convenient street parking--we found a spot right out front. The service was friendly, and the food didn't disappoint. The ikageso karaage (fried squid) was a standout--light, crispy, and not greasy. We also enjoyed the hot house saké, seaweed salad, Asakusa special roll, and sushi sashimi combo. Great food, great service--I'd definitely go back!
We expected the ramen bowla to be larger and more flavorful , as we've had ramen in other towns and got that and more for less money. The sushi was really good though. Customer service was a bit lacking as well. We may be back because this place is close to where we live but I wouldn't say it was my favorite ramen.
So happy I found this little spot! All of the rolls I got were so delicious and the presentation was amazing as well. Super fresh tasting sushi overall. The service was very fast and the restaurant was pretty clean too which was really nice. The volcano roll was my favorite out of the four rolls total. Next time me and my partner go we really want to try the Ramon, the table next to us got that and it look super yummy. Highly recommend this place!
Finding decent sushi on door dash can be tricky. Thankfully, Ichiban Izakaya is the real deal. Each roll is handcrafted using fresh ingredients. The rolls are mostly fish and very little filler, which I genuinely appreciate. This place is my official go-to for door dash sushi!

I've now ordered twice for delivery and can't wait to order again. It's the best new sushi place in the area each time I've ordered the food has been consistent and delicious and super fast. I hope this place gets popular and stays.
We came in for a quick bite and this place was pretty good! The ramen broth was rich and my husband really liked his ginza roll. I thought that the crunchy spicy salmon roll was a little on the blander side, but I still enjoyed my food overall! Will definitely be back.
